Code of Ethics Meier/Burman Residence Halls

We believe:

That Meier and Burman Halls have been dedicated to God and that His Holy Spirit and His angels are welcome here.

That university-age men can profit from a safe, supportive, structured, environment as they strive to achieve the greatest personal and academic success.

That Meier and Burman residents are unique individuals with God-given talents, and the potential to positively impact families, churches and communities around the world.

That as the name of Jesus is "lifted up" within these residence halls, He will "draw all men unto Himself."

That the goals of the residence halls should include helping students be comfortable, safe, classroom-ready, responsible, citizens who are preparing for this life and the life to come.

That the choices and decisions made now are of great importance and have long-lasting implications.

That the advantages of being a residence hall student are clearly apparent and are supportive of the mission of Andrews University.

That the ethnic diversity and cultural heritage of our residents are among our greatest assets.

That each professional and student staff member respects and cares for all residents equally.

That each professional and student staff member contributes to the success of each resident.
