Financial Aid

tuition assistance

The first payment for the school year (1/10th of the total tuition charge) is due on Registration Day in August. Parents who need to make special financial arrangements should call the Accounts Business Manager at (269) 471-2860 to make an appointment to discuss the finances.

Eligibility for financial aid is performance-based, which means that all conditions must be met for each semester in order to receive the scholarship for that semester. These conditions include academic and citizenship criteria and payment of the family's portion of the bill. After freshmen year, a student must be employed as a prerequiste to receiving financial aid. Financial aid for students attending Andrews Academy is available as described below:

FAMILY DISCOUNT (5-10%) >> DOWNLOAD FORM
A family tuition discount program is offered to parents who support two or more of their children enrolled at Andrews Academy and Ruth Murdoch Elementary School. The discount rate is figured at five percent for two supported children and ten percent for three or more supported children. All siblings must be enrolled full-time to qualify. Application is made at the time of registration.

PROJECT ASSIST ($1,500, three-way match) >> DOWNLOAD FORM
Project Assist is a Michigan Conference three-way matching program to help families who are members of a Michigan Conference Adventist Church, who could not otherwise attend Andrews Academy. The application is submitted directly to the family's church along with tax forms/proof of income. The church will determine the financial need and forward this information to the academy. The amount awarded depends on the local church. The maximum amount to be matched by the academy and the Michigan Conference is $500. This makes Project Assist worth a total of $1,500 per student. Please contact your church for their application deadline.
