The IMC operates a computerized catalog, allowing students to easily locate books by subject, author and/or title. Books in the IMC are classified according to the Dewey Decimal System which uses broad classifications for various subject areas as noted below:

- 100-199 :: PHILOSOPHY
- 200-299 :: RELIGION
- 300-399 :: SOCIAL SCIENCES
- 400-499 :: LANGUAGES
- 500-599 :: PURE SCIENCES
- 600-699 :: TECHNOLOGY & APPLIED SCIENCES
- 700-799 :: ARTS
- 800-899 :: LITERATURE
- 900-999 :: HISTORY
