TELL ME ABOUT THE CAMPAIGN
Ten alumni have challenged the school to a matching campaign designed for the advancement of Andrews Academy.
The plan is that for every dollar contributed by alumni, faculty, former faculty, or board and development committee members, the challengers will also contribute one dollar. However, in order to qualify for the challenge gifts, the dollar and participation goals must be attained. You will be kept informed of when participation and financial milestones are reached, as the status of the campaign will be reported periodically.
You are invited to consider what your participation will be in the Envisioning the Future of Andrews Academy Challenge Campaign. For every amount that is donated 50% will go toward funding Endowments, 25% will be allocated for the Leaders on Leadership Forum, and 25% will be set aside for the Annual Fund.

WHERE DOES MY MONEY GO?
Annual Fund
Gifts to the Annual Fund are the most valuable to the operation of the school in that they may be applied where the need is greatest. These gifts are especially important because they contribute to the security and stability of the school program. This fund helps the school weather the ebbs and flows resulting from the fluctuation of enrollment from year to year.
Leaders on Leadership
Traditionally, and especially in the last 30 years, the Andrews Academy experience has been known for the strong leadership qualities resulting from students’ participation in its curricular and co-curricular experiences. The Leaders on Leadership Forum is designed to make these qualities even stronger by bringing to the school cutting-edge individuals—outstanding achievers in their fields—who will interact with the students in lecture, seminar, or specialty. Specialties may include such diverse areas as spiritual growth, motivation, inspiration, academic content areas, finance, technology, law, government, business and healthcare. It is providing a very meaningful element to the Andrews Academy experience.
Endowed Funds
Endowment gifts are a major contribution to the school’s future stability. These gifts are invested in interest-earning accounts and the income is used annually for the purpose the endowment designates.
Currently, Andrews Academy holds over 18 endowment funds with a market value of over $385,000. Several others are in progress. Our goal is to increase the school’s endowment total to one million dollars in the next five years.

THE CHALLENGE AT A GLANCE
If the annual participation and dollar goals are reached, ten challengers will each give $5000 the first year, $5500 the second year, and $6000 the third year. Donations will be matched dollar for dollar.
