• Doctorate or Masters in Community Health Nursing


• BS in Nursing


• Certifications in Commnity Health Nursing


• Formal academic teaching experience


• Work experience in community health nursing

Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.

Duties and responsibilities

• Teach Community Health Nursing Theory and Clinical Classes


• Teach Clinical Observation Sites for Medical-Surgical I Nursing class


• Teach Complementary Wellness and Restoration I Class


• Teach Internship nursing class


• Attend all departmental meetings


• Advise students


• Other things as requested


• Participate in scholarship endeavors


• Participate in service endeavors

Supervisory responsibilities

• Ability to teach with technology


• Dynamic presenter/speaker


• Ability to form good student and peer relationships


• Ability to establish relationships with clinical sites in various communities
