Position summary

Works as assistant to the chair of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology in cooperation the the deparment Administrative Assistant.

Qualifications summary

General office machines, i.e. copier, fax, phone etc. Must be able to handle interruptions to work and a sometime stressful work environment. Candidate will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement, as they will be working with student issues and clinic client information.  

Duties and responsibilities

Works as part of the department team giving support to all faculty members 

Supervisory responsibilities

None

Qualifications

Must be a Graudate Student. 

Technical competencies

Able to work in Excel, Word, Power-point and Publisher a plus. 

Interpersonal interactions

May be required to cover the reception desk on occasion where there is high level of contact with studetns and visitors. 

Physical demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. Specific vision abilities requred by this job include, close vision and ability to adjust focus.
