Position summary
Assist in implementation of all special events and catering for Dining Services. This individual will be responsible for shifts scheduled with Catering Assistant.

Duties and responsibilities
- Interface with the client at the point of service to ensure the event is carried out to their exact specifications.
- Communicate and orchestrate the functions of the kitchen, sanitation, and retail to ensure the highest quality events.
- Set up and decorate events as directed and break down events both on site and around campus and community.
- Pick up and deliver items as needed for events.
- Flexible schedule to accommodate variety of hours needed to coordinate events.
- Do other work as requested by supervisor.

Qualifications
Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to customers or employees of organization.
Work flexible hours
Enrolled as a full-time student for school year 2014 -2015 at Andrews University.
