CHILDRENS LEARNING CENTER - Assistant Caregiver

Position summary

Assist the lead caregiver in care and supervision of infants ages 2 months - 12 months. 

Qualifications summary

• Must have a loving and gentle spirit. 


• Ability to relate joyfully and sensitively to both children and adults. 


• Must display emotional maturity and able to work well on a team.


• High quality communcation skills needed to communicate with colleagues and parents. 

Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.

Duties and responsibilities

• Tending to basic needs of infants including diaper changing, feeding, rocking, lifting and playing on floor with children.


• Keep detailed records for each child.


• Must be a self starter - aware of the needs of each child without reminding.

Supervisory responsibilities

Occasionally there will be supervision of student aides.

Qualifications

Previous child care experience preferred. 


Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.

Physically demanding.  Must be able to lift up to 25#, stoop, kneel and easily move up and down from the floor.
