Position summary

This student worker position with the International Development Program involves communication in Spanish with off-campus students from around the world by email and other office related tasks.

Qualifications summary

Articulate in the Spanish language with good computer and communication skills.

Duties and responsibilities

Student communication in Spanish regarding admission, attendance, assignments, etc.

IDP Database:

   - Enter student details for new admissions 

   - Update admission notes before each session

   - Email students of what application documents are missing before each session 

   - Update concentration topics for each student

Calculate/type course evaluations

Document translation

Other tasks as assigned

 

Supervisory responsibilities

N/A

Qualifications

Spanish as a first language

English proficiency to allow for translation between the two languages

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Access, and Outlook preferred

Minimum two year commitment requested
