Position summary
To assist in communication with professors and preparation for their courses; general session preparation needs; arrange details for online courses; assist with dissemination of the comp exam details and arragements for exam grading.
Qualifications summary
Articulate in the English language with good computer and communication skills. Knowledge of Graduate Level Off-campus Program proceedures preferred. Fifth year college or university program certificate; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.
Duties and responsibilities
IDP currently includes over 500 students and conducts eight sessions annually. Site venues may change or increase.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following and relate to all students and sites as listed above. Other duties may be assigned.
Session Preparation
- Prepare and send Instructor contracts and course syllabi templates for each session
- Prepare a schedule for Instructors of due dates for materials needed for the core courses
- Communicate with the IDP Instructors to obtain course materials
- Organize translation of course materials
- Organize the materials for each core course for each session
- Prepare student name-tags
- Prepare certificates and other materials for the “End of Program Ceremony”
- Print student records for each session including the SPS and unofficial transcripts
IDP Records
- Prepare graduation candidacy forms
- Write to students who did not attend an intensive and inactivate as necessary
- Forward typed course evaluations to IDP Director
- Perform routine clerical duties such as mailings, filing, and obtaining signatures
Session/student support
- Prepare invitation letters for students to attend international sessions
- Send out pre-session assignments
- Send out reminder of post session assignment due dates
- Prepare baseline/benchmarking letters upon student request
Online Courses
- Confirm students planning to participate
- Prepare final list of participants
Research/Comprehensive Exam
- Disseminate comprehensive exam review concepts
- Arrange for grading of Comprehensive Exam results
- Prepare research mentor contracts and update IDP data base with mentor information

Qualifications
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Spanish/French is also of value.
Detail and team oriented.
International experience preferred.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Access, and Outlook preferred.
Fifth year college or university program certificate; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum two year commitment requested.
Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.
