Position summary
Manage the functions of the Master of Divinity office. Provide both academic and policy advice to the approximately 400 students enrolled in the program. Write, develop, and maintain effective web, electronic, written, and verbal communication with students, prospective students, faculty, and university departments.
Qualifications summary

Fourth year college or university program certificate; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Advanced skills in verbal and written English.

Ability to employ logic and critical thought with regard to academic policies and apply to them to complex real life situations.

Hold highly developed project management skills and multi-tasking.

Advanced computer literacy skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher and PowerPoint.

Proficiency in internal software like Banner and Redwood is desirable.

Strong desktop publishing and web design skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with a multicultural student group.

Ability to work collaboratively with academics and leaders of the Seventh-day Adventist church.

High levels of professionalism, in performance, document presentation, speech, and personal presentation. Must have highly developed interpersonal relationship skills, be highly organized, and thrive in a fast-paced office environment.
Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.
Duties and responsibilities

Manage the functions of the Master of Divinity office.

Provide both academic and policy advice to the students enrolled in the program.

Write, develop, and maintain effective web, electronic, written, and verbal communication with students, prospective students, faculty, and university departments.

Maintain knowledge of core requirements, prerequisites, emphasis areas, and electives offered within the Master of Divinity program.

Develop, distribute, and maintain relevant materials that will assist students in tracking their progress.

Field enquiries from prospective students and answer questions regarding the Master of Divinity program.

Process new student applications

Compose and design materials and presentations for new student orientation.

Follow up with students accepted into the program.
