Position summary
To help ECS Faculty create and manage a space to be used to unleash the student/faculty potential for creativity. And help Faculty/Students with projects for courses such as ENGR120 Intro to Engineering and ENGR492 Senior Design.

Duties and responsibilities
- ENGR491 – Review of Engineering Design/ ENGR492 Senior Design Help students with their Projects, Chair to provide the specifics.
- Teaching/Projects – Help students with their projects in the lab such as: ENGR120 Intro to Engineering & Design
- Assist with faculty planning and implementation of a Creativity Space for Engineering.
- Plan and implement the Creativity space and the processes, working with the ECS Chair.
- Supervise a student worker to help in the creativity space
- Other duties may be assigned by Chair
Supervisory responsibilities
Supervise one student worker.
Qualifications
- Holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering.
- Demonstrates a commitment for Andrews University and its quality Engineering & Computer Science Education Programs.
- Demonstrates the attributes of a skilled team player.
- Demonstrates ability to work on multiple projects with frequent interruptions
- Circuit layout experience
- Project management
- Software design skills
Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.

Physical demands
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds independently
- Receive visual and auditory information from faculty, staff, students and guests
- Work at a computer for 4 hours a day
- Navigate one flight of stairs
