Position summary
Student Assistant for Undergraduate Records
Qualifications summary
Must be a full time student in good and regular standing.
Be able to work from 9 am to 12 pm Monday -Friday ( a minimum of 15 hours).
Be avilable to work in the Summers.
Duties and responsibilities
General Office Operations as it relates to the Undergraduate Records Office: copying, scanning, processing of petitions, graduation applications, email, telephone, etc.
Supervisory responsibilities
If the student is at the graduate level, they will be expected to help supervise undergraduate students in the office.
Qualifications
A bachelor degree is preferred.
Experience with the Banner software is preferred.
Excellent math reasoning and writing skills; current knowledge of Microsoft Word Suite; computer skills; customer service attitude and skills since both students and faculty are being served by the Undergraduate Records Office...
Technical competencies
Proficient in Microsoft Word Suite
Interpersonal interactions
Must be able to deal with students and faculty in a courteous and fair way on the telephone, in person or email
Physical demands
Only physical demands are being able to move a banker box of folders
Work environment
Just a bit crowded from time to time; noise level can be a bit high because of the main door of the office opens into the lobby
