Position summary

Graduate Assistant prepares the program's Master of Public Health (MPH) self study document for accreditation by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH). This will be done under the the supervision of the MPH program director.

Qualifications: Applicant must demonstrate a strong work ethic and Chrstian demeanor; possess the maturity, leadership, and personal qualities that will promote success of the MPH Self-Study for program accreditation. Applicant pays attention to details and demonstrates good time management by meeting specified deadlines; must be hightly reliable, efficient and responsible.

Applicant must be able to relate well to all self-study committee members, show initiative, have a conscientious attitude, be organized, and have strong verbal & written communication skills.

Duties and responsibilities

Responsibilities:


  1. Be actively involved in writing and preparing the self-study* documents for the Andrews University MPH Program's Accreditation.GA will work closely and in conjunction with the Self-Study Committee (MPH faculty).

  2. Willing to learn and understand the self-study process.

  3. Serve as the Secretary/Document Organizer of the Self-Study Committee. Perform tasks such as taking minutes at every meeting and keeping meticulous records. Expected to attend all the meetings.

  4. Review the self-study document at every stage, especially prior to meetings.

  5. May be assigned additional duties as deemed necessary by the committee.

Qualifications

Education: Master's degree preferred or working toward a master's degree (or higher level).

Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Computer savvy. Good typing speed. Being tech savvy helpful.
