Position summary
Serves as administrative assistant to the Director of the PhD in Religion and ThD programs, as well as to the Director of the PhD in Religious Education and the Director of the PhD in Biblical Archeology. Organizes office procedures, schedules appointments, takes calls, maintains records including committee minutes and assessment details, handles correspondence, guides and assists students in line with program policies and procedures, and fulfills other duties as assigned.
Qualifications summary
Bachelor's degree preferred with emphasis on secretarial, communication, or educational skills, or equivalent in experience.

- Ability to learn university systems(including ACALOG and WEAVE online systems)
Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.
Duties and responsibilities
- Organizes office procedures such as information management, filing systems, requisition of supplies and equipment, and other clerical duties
- Maintains records and files of the program and student progress
- Manage program director’s calendar and schedule appointments and meetings
- Coordinates all matters related to comprehensive examinations and defenses
- Coordinates the Scholarship Application and disbursement process
- Assists students and faculty with registration requirements
- Serves as recording secretary for PhD/ThD Committee meetings.
Supervisory responsibilities
Supervises graduate student with collection of surveys and other data and general clerical duties.
Qualifications
