Position summary
Faculty will teach graduate level courses related to Educational Administration and Leadership, and to serve on doctoral dissertation committees.
Qualifications summary
The successful candidate will have an earned doctorate in Education, Leadership or related field, plus a record of excellence in teaching at the graduate level and demonstrated experience in serving on dissertation committees and advising doctoral students. Duties and responsibilities
- Teach graduate level courses related to Educational Administration and Leadership
- Advise graduate students in their program and course plan
- Serve on doctoral dissertation committees
- Develop a research agenda demonstrated through publications and presentations at professional
- Participate in program and department governance
- conferences
- Teach using blended instruction of online and face-to-face delivery methods
- Facilitate group learning process
- Engage in accreditation processes and oversee internship coordination

Qualifications
- Earned doctorate in Education, Leadership or related field
- Demonstrated experience in dissertation committees and advising doctoral students
- Evidence of experience in guiding research
- Evidence of experience in evaluation and asessment
- Experience and proven competence in performing leadership roles in different settings
- Evidence of effective leadership and teaching in higher education
- Ability to work with diverse international clientele of doctoral and masters students
- Evidence of ability to work collegially and collaboratively with colleagues in a flexible environment
- Ability to use and model technology as an instructional tool
- Evidence of scholarly contributions to the field of Educational Leadership through research and publications
- Preference will be given to candidates who are able to support the department programs in more than one area
- Grants and fundraising experience preferred
- Experience in K-12 educational systems in North America preferred
