ACADEMIC RECORDS - Student Assistant for Articulation

Position summary

The student assistant will provide clerical support and assistance with articulation and other responsibilities in Undergraduate Records.

Qualifications summary

Focused and detail-oriented.  Good computer, math, interpersonal and writing skills.  Ability to multi-task.  Dependable and self-starter.  Confidentiality a MUST.  Mature attitude and responsible.  Ability to work summers.  Graduate students preferred.  Ability to work a block of time during regular office hours.

Duties and responsibilities

Primary duties: Transfer evaluation, scanning, student folder organization and management, filing, data entry, CAPP (Degree Audit) operations, other duties as requested by the supervisor.

Qualifications

Microsoft Office experience, maturity, understanding of process, minimum length of stay: 2-3 years.  Complete the office skills test at the Employment office ext. 3570.  Submit a resume.

Must be comfortable interacting with supervisor and other office personnel as needed. 

Physical demands

Must be able to sit at a desk for long periods of time.  Must be able to stand in one place for 1-2 hours at a shredder when needed.  Must be able to carry up to 20 pounds as needed.

Work environment

Desk area with computer in office cubicle.
