Position summary

Assist with teaching lab based computer programming/applications classes. Attend help sessions and grade assignments. Beginning programming, PC applications are the main types of projects the students are needing help with. The job could also entail assisting students in a small maker lab with a CNC machine, laser cutters, vinyl cutter and 3D printers. OJT is available. 

Qualifications summary

Intro programming skills and resonable skills with basic PC applications.

Duties and responsibilities

Provide assistance to students in programming and application assignments on computers. Will be programming in C#, training available.

Supervisory responsibilities

Supervise one evening help session a week.

Qualifications

Basic computer programming, ideally C# knowledge

Comfortable with use of Word, Excel, and web page production

3D CAD/CAM a plus

Able to work with high school students

Technical competencies

Able to to finance and statistics in excel

Able to handle complex formating in Word

Able to create web pages in html

Quick learner as applications may change

Fluent in English

Computer lab environment with 30 students
