ADV LEARNING COMMUNITY (ALC) - ALC Videographer

Position summary

Videographers film videos for viewing on the Adventist Learning Community. They edit videos to include post-production graphics and footage, label all resources accordingly, and upload them to the ALC platform. They film on location wherever the ALC is contracted.

Qualifications summary

Work with adobe editing suite and have a sizable amount of knowledge regarding cameras and audio equipment. 


Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.

Duties and responsibilities

Film using the Adventist Learning Community studio. 

Film on location shoots for the Adventist Learning Community. 

Edit videos on Adventist Learning Community computers. 

Supervisory responsibilities

None.

Qualifications

Computer and video gear knowledge are critical. 

Adobe suite editing capabilities are a must. 

Proficiency with digital cameras and journalism style audio equipment are also musts. 


Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.

Technical competencies

Able to create short educational and promotional videos for the North American Division. 

Interpersonal interactions

Must be comfortable interacting with students, professional clients, and office staff. 

Physical demands

Be able to lift 25 pounds and stand for several hours at a time. 

Work environment

The work environment is not physically demanding, but sometimes requires long periods of silence due to the nature of studio filming.
