From Disability Awareness to Perfect Unity

"See God's Power Enable His Church: From Disability Awareness to Perfect Unity."

In the church, all should be able to worship God and make a difference, regardless of gender, ethnicity, age or economic status. But how does ability fit into this? This weekend, September 24 & 25, Ray McAllister, the first blind student to be awarded a PhD by the Andrews SDA Theological Seminary, will present a seminar on the very issue. On Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. Dr. McAllister will share a Bible-based motivational testimony about his own journey to fulfill his God-given dreams. What God has done for him, He will do for anyone. At 11:00 on Sabbath morning, he will speak about how the church, responding to the needs of those differently abled, will reach even closer to the goal of perfect unity. At 3:00 p.m. he will lead a less formal panel discussion forum about disability issues, with time for questions and answers. A love offering will be taken for Christian Record Services. Come and learn how all of us can enjoy the full benefits of complete unity in Christ.
