New Content Management System (CMS) for www.andrews.edu

IMC has been busy getting ready for the transition to the new CMS. As of May 24, approximately 20 departments/offices have been moved over to the new system, bringing the total number of sites running on the new system to 30. Some of the benefits of the new CMS are:

• The new CMS will be supported in all modern browsers (Firefox, Internet Explorer, Chrome and Safari) with no special plugins or setup required.
• Deployments/publishing should be almost instant when everything is fully up and running. Most content will not require approval.
• This upgrade does not change the design of your site. End users won’t know anything is different. From their perspective, nothing will be.

Departments/offices will be contacted before their site is transitioned and can expect the process to take 1–2 days. Until your department/office is ready for migration, please feel free to browse our list of video tutorials and documentation on the new CMS at www.andrews.edu/services/imc/web.
