Herald Palladium: Lessons Learned from BP Spill
Three EPA chemists presented a lecture at the Chemistry amphitheater on Thursday, Sept. 29, at 4:30 p.m. The three chemists, Dennis Wesolowski, David Schroeder and Lawrence Zintek, were from the federal Environmental Protection Agency's Chicago regional office and were among the many government and private experts called into quick action after the spill in the Gulf of Mexico occurred April 20, 2010. They discussed the quick work they did with a dispersant 3 and cited the collaboration among many people in response to the environmental disaster. Read the full story here.
