Application Information for Celebration of Faculty and Graduate Student Research
Fifth Annual Andrews University Celebration of Faculty and Graduate Student Research will be held Friday afternoon, November 1, 2013 in Buller Hall.
Graduate student research will be included, but the deadline for submitting an abstract will be Tuesday, October 1, 2013. The abstract submission form may be found here. Please submit your abstract electronically to email@example.com.
The schedule will be as follows:
12:30 – 2:00 pm Plenary Presentations (Newbold Auditorium)
2:00 – 3:30 pm Poster Session (Buller Hallways), refreshments provided
3:30 – 4:30 pm Oral Sessions (Buller Classrooms)
In order to accommodate everyone who wishes to present, please note the following guidelines:
1. Faculty and graduate students can choose to present either a poster or orally.
2. The oral presentations will be 10 minutes, with an additional 2 minutes for questions and answers.
3. The standard Poster size will be 30 x 40 inches. However, if you have printed a poster for a conference that is a different size, you are welcome to use that poster—simply let us know the size so we can set up the easel for you correctly.
4. Only one submission per presenter will be accepted (a research group with multiple presenters can make a submission for each presenter).
