On Thursday, October 2, 2014, a very important cross-disciplinary topic dealing with cheating in science will be presented as part of our annual Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry Seminar Series. The specific topic is: "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly: What Retractions Tell Us About Scientific Transparency." Our guest speaker is Dr. Ivan Oransky, Co-Founder of Retraction Watch, Medical Journalist and Faculty at New York University School of Medicine.

This public science event is co-sponsored by: Andrews University Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry, Andrews University College of Arts & Sciences, Andrews University Office of Research & Creative Scholarship, Building Excellence in Science & Technology and Benton Spirit Community Newspaper.
