ChemSem News 8: Nuclear Waste

How much radioactive nuclear waste do we have in the United States? Where are we keeping it? How do we clean it up from the environment? How dangerous is it anyway? Is any stored in your backyard?

All are encouraged to attend and hear Dr. Shannon M Biros's lecture this Thursday, October 23, 2014 at 4:30pm in A-107 Halenz Hall on the topic: Recognition of f-Elements:Applications in Nuclear Waste Remediation.

This is the eighth Fall 2014 lecture in the annual Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry Seminar Series. Our guest speaker comes to us fromGrand Valley State University.
