Animal Husbandry

The four-year degree in Animal Husbandry prepares you to work in many aspects of the livestock and companion animal industries.  You could specialize your education to focus on dairy cattle management or equine management.  You could work as a livestock buyer or marketer.  You could develop a business raising and boarding cats and dogs or manage a pet shop.  The classes you will take are broad-based and diverse to give you a good understanding of the areas of animal care and production.  You can also tailor your class schedule to include courses in business, finance, marketing, and accounting. Internships in the program will give you career and real-world experiences in your chosen field.
