September 29-October 2, 2005 marked our first-ever fall Homecoming weekend here at Andrews University. The theme, Come Home for Harvest, was reflected throughout the weekend - and the weather was gorgeous. Among the amazing history and decade music of Thursday evening?s ?People?s Choice Concert?, to the flickering torches, crackling fire and coziness of Saturday night?s Harvest-Time Picnic, it truly was a wonderful weekend filled with fun activities and warm fellowship.
Perhaps most significant of all - many were touched, between the vespers program by Campus Ministries, and Pastor Dwight Nelson?s Sabbath message, and responded to our plea to support The Missions Program here at Andrews University. $30,200 was collected from our Alumni and 62 students stood up during Sabbath services and committed to serve in the mission field (and these numbers are still growing). We can?t thank you enough for this significant response!
Your view is important to us and we want to hear from you, please take a few moments to share your thoughts about Homecoming by emailing us at: alumni@andrews.edu or by clicking here. If you were here, what did you particularly enjoy/would like to see? If you weren?t able to join us - what would engage you to come back?
Again, thank you for Coming Home for Harvest We hope you can plan to join us next year, September 28-October 1, 2006. It wouldn?t be the same without you!
Serving Him,

Tami Condon
Director, Alumni Services
