Archaeological Fieldwork.

An important part of the Institute's responsibilities is to conduct, manage, and promote archaeological fieldwork. We have been involved with major projects since the initial season at Tell Hesban in 1968, and focus our efforts on the archaeology of the near east. As a key contributor to the Madaba Plains Project, the Institute of Archaeology at Andrews University, along with La Sierra University, Canadian University College, Walla Walla College, and the American Schools of Oriental Research, have provided terrific opportunities to conduct fieldwork in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Additionally, we have participated in excavations in Israel.

Opportunities for Fieldwork
