Dana Kendall is an assistant professor of psychology in the Behavioral Sciences Department at Andrews University. She graduated with a bachelor of science in psychology from Andrews University in 1999. During her undergraduate years, she developed an interest in applying psychological principles to problems in the workplace. After obtaining her doctorate in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, she decided to return to Andrews as a faculty member in 2007.

Dr Kendall's dissertation project, titled "Does choice matter? The impact of allowing proteges to select their own mentors" entailed implementing a campus-wide, online, formal peer mentoring program at the University of Central Florida. She hopes to implement a similar program at Andrews University in the future. She has published in the Journal of Applied Psychology and contributed to various scholarly book chapters.

Outside the academic realm, Dr. Kendall enjoys spending time with her husband, Scott, and pet bird Sunny, as well as hosting relaxing gatherings for family and friends.
