Biography:
Albert McMullen is an Associate Professor of Clinical Laboratory Science at Andrews University, Berrien Springs, Michigan. He joined the faculty in 1989.Born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, McMullen received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Columbia Union College, Takoma Park, MD., in 1970. He received a Master of Arts in Biology from Walla Walla College, College Place, WA in 1972. In 1974 he received his MT(ASCP) certification after completion of the medical technology program at Hinsdale Hospital in Hinsdale, IL.
McMullen spent four years as Manager of Non-technical Services for Hinsdale Hospital prior to assuming his present position. In addition to fulfilling duties as Associate Professor, McMullen worked for 14 years part-time as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist II for Lakeland Regional Health Systems in St. Joseph, MI.
McMullen is a member of the American Society for Clinical Pathology.
He is married to Fran McMullen and has two sons and a daughter.
