Biography:

Marcella Myers is an Assistant Professor of Political Science, she earned her Ph.D. in Political Science from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI. Marcella joined the department in 2008.

Dr. Myers is a native of western Washington, and has lived most of her life in the Northwest and Midwest. She earned her B.A. in History from Western Michigan University, where she also pursued and earned both her M.A. and Ph.D. in Political Science. She has been the recipient of the College of Arts and Sciences Graduate Research Award, the Political Science Department Research and Creative Scholar award, and the Gwen Frostic Fellowship. Dr. Myers has presented papers at multiple regional and international conferences. She recently published “Important or Impotent? Radical Right Political Parties and Public Policy in Germany and Austria” (Lambert Academic Publishing, 2010).
