Biography:
Ruben Perez-Schulz is a professor of Spanish grammar and literature on the campus of Andrews University, Berrien Springs, Mich. He joined the faculty in 2006.

Born in Argentina, Schulz graduated from the Universidad de la Frontera, Temuco, Chile, in 1992, with a degree in Spanish Grammar and Literature. In 1998, he received a master's degree in education from the University of Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada.

Before coming to Andrews, Perez-Schulz served as a high school teacher, director for academic studies, and principal at Los Angeles Adventist Academy, and principal at Concepci?n Adventist Academy. He was invited to teach at the faculty of education at the Universidad Adventista de Chile, Chill?n. He has also served as an occasional conversation teacher and translator.

He is married to Carolina Olivares. They have two daughters.
