Biography:

Lisa Bubar received her Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Wheaton College Conservatory of Music in Wheaton, Illinois. She has taught general and vocal music at the elementary and middle school levels in public schools in Illinois.
Lisa currently teaches private bassoon lessons from elementary to college level to students across southwest Michigan. She is an Artist in Residence with the Lakeshore Public Schools and adjunct bassoon instructor at Andrews University and Lake Michigan College. She performs with the Lake Effect Winds Quintet, the Andrews University Symphony Orchestra and Sinfonietta, the Vesper Chamber Orchestra, and the St. Joseph Municipal Band, and does other free lance performing in the Michiana area.
