Biography:

Daniel McCarthy received his Associate of Arts degree from the American Conservatory of Music and his BMus and MMus in Music Education from Governors State University. He has performed with the Southwest Michigan Symphony, St. Joseph Municipal Band, Symphony Brass, Andrews Wind Symphony, Notre Dame Symphonic Band, and the Renaissance String Quartet. Daniel is currently active both as a soloist and chamber musician in South Chicago and South Bend, performing many styles of music from Baroque to Broadway. In addition to his duties as adjunct trumpet instructor at Andrews University, he teaches trumpet at Notre Dame University and Lake Michigan College, and also gives private brass instruction at local area high schools.
