Biography:
Arlene Saliba is an assistant professor of nursing at Andrews University, Berrien Springs, Mich. She joined the faculty in 1993.Born in the Philippines, Saliba received bachelor's and master's degrees from Andrews in 1973 and 1993. in 1999, she received her Family Nurse Practitioner certification from Valparaiso University in northern Indiana. Before coming to Andrews, Saliba worked as staff nurse, in-service director and instructional assistant in Virginia and Michigan.
She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau. She also teaches CPR and is active in her local church, Michiana Fil-Am Church. In addition to teaching, Saliba also serves as a nurse practitioner at the Veterans Administration-Benton Harbor Community Based Outpatient Clinic, which is affiliated with the nursing department at Andrews.
She is married to David Saliba. They have two sons.
