Biography:

Cherie Wilson graduated from Pacific Union College in 2001 with her associate's degree in nursing and began working on a medical surgical nursing floor in California. In 2003, Cherie graduated from Pacific Union College with her bachelor's degree in Nursing. She then moved to Tennessee where she completed her master's degree in nursing at Southern Adventist University with an emphasis as family nursing practitioner. Cherie's master's project was titled "Promotion of Hand Washing at Summer Camp." Cherie has been at Andrews University teaching in the Nursing Department since August of 2006. While teaching she has also been enjoying working with an asthma and allergy doctor. In her spare time Cherie enjoys spending time with her husband, Brent, hiking, geocaching and many other outdoor activities.

- Graduate Project: Promotion of Hand Washing at Summer Camp
  * Discussed the decrease of upper respiratory infections and gastrointestinal
     infections seen in campers after introducing a hand-washing program.
