Admission Requirements

  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution.
  • Verification statement for a completed DPD program (original). For those who have not completed their degree should file a completed "Declaration of Intent to Complete Degree and/or CADE Minimum Academic Requirements" form
  • Completed application form and Dietetic Internship Additional Information Required form.
  • Students with an overall GPA of 3.0 (or above), a GPA of 3.2 (or above) for the DPD credits, and having some relevant work experience are given priority.
  • Participation in the national computer matching program in Ames, Iowa.
  • Candidates may be called for a personal or telephone interview during the selection process.
