Pregnancy and Postpartum: Clinical Highlight
Oct 26 & 27, 2008This 2-day course is designed for the clinician who will be treating pregnant and postpartum patients and for the clinician interested in expanding her/his practice to include this population with evidence based treatment techniques. Anatomical and physiological changes of the pregnant and postpartum woman will be covered. Specific dysfunctions of carpal tunnel, thoracic outlet, rib pain, diastasis recti, ostitis pubis, pubic, sacroiliac and coccyx joint problems, foot and back pain will be discussed with evaluation and treatment methods practiced in lab. The course is designed for practical application with patients the next day. There are no prerequisites for this course.
