Biography:

John Banks is professor of anatomy and physical therapy at Andrews University, Berrien Springs, Michigan. He joined the Andrews faculty in the Department of Physical Therapy in the summer of 1984.

Born in Grand Rapids, MI, John graduated from Andrews with a BA degree in Biology in 1972 and a MA in Biology in 1981. He received a PhD in Biology from Loma Linda University, Loma Linda, California, in 1984. The title of his dissertation is �Development of Synaptic Structures in the Guinea-pig Pineal Gland.�

John Banks is a member of the American Association of Anatomists and teaches courses in anatomy, physiology and pathology. He is also the coauthor of the award-winning anatomy text entitled �Atlas of Clinical Gross Anatomy.�

He is married to Patricia Banks. They have two daughters, Erin and Kirsten.
