Biography:
Kathy Berglund is an associate professor of physical therapy at Andrews University, Berrien Springs, Michigan. Kathy started as a contract teacher in the program in 1989; became the half time orthopedic coordinator in 1994 and went full time in 2003 with the development of the postprofessional degree program which she is Program Director.
Kathy was born in College Park, Maryland and graduated from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill in 1978 with a BS in Physical Therapy and in 1980 with a MA in Athletic Training and Sports Medicine. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Science degree in Manual Physical Therapy. Kathy is a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, a Certified Athletic Trainer and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy.
Kathy lives in Portage, MI and has 2 biological children (Brian and Todd); 2 daughters adopted from Bulgaria (Fidanka and Evvianna) and a son adopted from Guatemala (Jacob).
