Biography:

Erhard Gallos is assistant professor of religion at Andrews University, Berrien Springs, Mich. He joined the faculty in 2008.

His theological training began at Marienhoehe, Germany in 1988. Graduating with a BA in Theology he pursued his Masters of Arts in Religion from Newbold College in 1994. From England he went back to Germany to pastor for six years in North-Rhine Westphalia in the district of Muenster and Krefeld where he was also ordained as a pastor in 1997. In the fall of 2000 he went to the United States to continue his education in the PhD program of the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary at Andrews University with an emphasis on the New Testament. He has finished his PhD with a dissertation on the Sabbath-rest of Hebrews 4. 

The classes which he enjoys teaching are Greek, Ethics, Hermeneutics, Hebrew Exegesis, Daniel & Revelation, Jesus in His Time and Ours, Introduction to the New Testament, the Gift of Prophecy, and the Epistle to the Hebrews.

He is married to Irmgard (Lutsch) Gallos and they have teenaged twins Dorothea and Christiane.
