Biography:
Stanley Hickerson is adjunct professor of religion and biblical languages on the campus of Andrews University, Berrien Springs, Mich. He joined the faculty in 2002.

Born in Riverside, Calif., Hickerson graduated from Pacific Union College, Angwin, Calif., in 1974, with a bachelor of arts degree in theology. In 1977, he received a master of divinity degree from Andrews University.  

Before coming to Andrews, Hickerson served as associate pastor for Battle Creek Tabernacle. Currently, he also serves as the pastor of the Stevensville Seventh-day Adventist Church, Mich.  

Hickerson is a member of the Board of Adventist Historic Properties. He has researched and authored several articles for the upcoming Ellen G. White encyclopedia.  

He is married to Kathryn Lynn (Hubbard) Hickerson. They have five daughters and one son.
