Biography:

Nadine Shillingford joined the faculty of the Engineering and Computer Science department in 2001. Apart from teaching courses in the department, Nadine has reached out to students as an undergraduate advisor. Currently, Nadine is pursuing a doctoral degree in Computer Science at the University of Notre Dame. Her special interest is in power management in multi-homed wireless devices. Nadine is married to Henok who is a computer programmer at Information Technology Services. They were recently blessed with a little girl, Hailey, who is now six (6) months old. Nadine enjoys reading, programming and music. Ms. Shillingford holds a B.S. in Computer Information Systems (1998) and a M.S. in Software Engineering (2001) from Andrews University.

Current Research or Professional Activities:

Nadine has recently published a student guide to accompany a web programming textbook. As mentioned in the biography, her current research is at the University of Notre Dame where her advisor is Dr. Chris Poellabauer.
