Biography:

For the first thirteen years of my life I was raised in central Africa as a missionary's kid until my parents moved to Berrien Springs. Upon my arrival I experienced the culture shock of identifying myself as an American and Andrews student.  After completing my Associate degree in Printing at Andrews in 1980, I continued my education at Western Michigan University, graduating with a BS in Printing Management in 2004.

During the time period between 1984 and 1996 I managed to find and marry my previous academy classmate (incidentally, I also gained work experience in estimating for printing and sales). In 1996, I accepted the position of Manager of LithoTech within the College of Technology and in 2005, it was my pleasure to add on to that responsibility by accepting the position of acting chair for the department of Digital Media & Photography. My objectives as acting chair of this department are to provide students with the best learning environment to develop technical visual communication skills that will enhance their opportunity for internships, jobs and more importantly the love, service and friendship of Christ in their lives.
