Andrews University - Griggs University Merger

In the fall of 2010, the ownership and operation of Griggs University and International Academy was transferred to Andrews University. In the summer of 2011, Griggs University and International Academy moved to Michigan.

Griggs University/Griggs International Academy is in the knowledge business. We work with students of all ages, individually and in groups through our educational affiliations. Whatever the challenge, we know the value of knowledge, gained through professionalism and adaptability and based on Christian principles.

Since 1909, we have partnered in the education of nearly a half million students. Our students have gone from the horse-and-buggy era to the virtual classroom. Students through the years have responded with testimonials that have a common theme: I could not have finished my education without Griggs.

A century of global work has brought about many changes—curriculum, delivery systems, even name changes—as our mission has grown. But one thing remains constant: to make available an affordable, accredited, values-based education in an adaptable format for students around the world.

This is an exciting and challenging time for Griggs. In a world of rapidly changing technology, we are not only expanding our offerings for today but anticipating the future as we make strategic plans to meet our students’ educational needs.
