The Crayon Box is proud to present, “Preparing Children for Success” on Thursday, Jan. 22 from 7-8:30 p.m. in 107 Marsh Hall with Gale Sylvester, an early childhood mental health consultant for Riverwood Center. This parenting seminar will discuss the importance of building children’s social and emotional capacities, identifying those risk factors that hinder children’s development, and specific things that parents can do to give their children the ‘edge’ needed for success. Free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
