Basar Bilgicer, assistant professor in the Department of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Notre Dame, was born in Istanbul and received his undergraduate degree in chemistry at Bogazici University. His PhD degree (2004) was earned at Tufts University, Boston. He will be presenting a lecture based on his studies of the thermodynamics and kinetics of multivalent interactions.
