The International Center for Educational Research (AICER) Symposium is pleased to announce a much awaited presentation:

The Joy of Research

Presenter: Duane McBride, chair, Department of Behavioral Sciences; director, Institute for Prevention of Addictions; and research professor of sociology at Andrews University.

Dr. McBride has an extensive research career at Andrews University and has published over 100 articles in peer reviewed journals. He will share with the students why he has a passion for the discoveries of research, how it contributes to the advancement of one’s career and the reputation of our University and even how to include your family in the success of your research. He will also discuss the barriers to research at Andrews, how to address those barriers and the hope he has for the future of research at Andrews University.
