ChemSem: Halogen Photochemistry

   Agenda

    A-107 Halenz Hall

Atmospheric chemistry is one of the best examples that chemistry is everywhere. What do you know about the chemistry of the air around you and in you? Do you know the relationship between the color of the sky including the color of sunsets and atmospheric composition? Do you know the facts of climate change? What can the clouds and snow tell about our changing climate? These and other questions will be in play at our first Fall 2014 ChemSem talk. What questions do you have?

Everyone is welcome to attend our first Fall 2014 session in the Andrews University Chemistry & Biochemistry Departmental Seminar Series this coming Thursday, September 4 at 4:30pm. As usual we meet in A-107 Halenz Hall.

Our guest speaker is:
Kerri Pratt, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry & Department of Earth & Environmental Sciences, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI.
