Expectations

What should I expect from my visit?
Because choosing a school is such an important and difficult decision, we want to provide you with an opportunity to see Andrews in detail.  If you set up an individual visit with us on a weekday, here's what we'll have planned for you to do.

Campus Visit Expectations

  • take an outstanding tour with an ambassador
  • receive a visitor's packet filled with helpful information
  • sport an AU t-shirt
  • be an AU student and experience our residence hall life
  • observe a university class of your choice
  • get all your questions answered when you meet with:
    • An academic advisor/professor
    • An admissions counselor
    • A financial aid counselor
    • A residence hall representative
    • (other appointments are available per request)
  • get involved in special events
  • have up to 2 nights of lodging and meals on us...our treat!
  • be blessed by religious programs, such as chapel (Thursdays) or other worship services (Friday and Saturday)

When should I visit?
A weekday visit allows you to experience the authenticity of the campus in action because you can meet professors and financial aid officers, observe classes, and connect with current students. As you make your decision, please keep our office hours in mind: we are open Monday through Thursday between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm and Fridays between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm. (Please note: Campus Offices are closed from Friday at noon until Monday at 9:00 am)
